Jim began his culinary training in the late 1970s, building a reputation for excellence that led to his role as Executive Chef for a nationally recognized hotel chain known for fine cuisine and impeccable service.

Smiling Jim’s passion is simple: to help home cooks create restaurant-quality meals with confidence and joy.

Each blend is crafted using certified organic herbs and spices, locally grown organic peppers, and a touch of kosher salt. We never use MSG, fillers, chemicals, or artificial additives. There is no sugar in our blends except in our Fajita and BBQ Rub, where a small amount is intentionally added to support proper caramelization.

Our seasonings bring bold, balanced flavor to beef, poultry, fish, pork, venison, wild game, vegetables, and plant-based proteins. Vegans love them for enhancing vegetables and meat substitutes.
